Bonjour !

My name is Anthony Diaz and I am the founder of Explore French. I was born and raised in Toulon, on the southern coast of France, a city that you may know if you are keen on rugby! Having said that, I have no regional accent and speak standard French.

After living for about ten years in Paris, where I graduated in philosophy and Asian languages, I moved to London in 2012. Three years later, in 2015, I founded Explore French to share my passion for languages. I work today as a freelance French teacher, Translator and Court Interpreter.

Passionate about foreign languages, I am fluent in French, English, Spanish and Mandarin Chinese, certified in Language Teaching to Adults, holder of the DPI (Diploma in Police Interpreting) and member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists (MCIL).
